As the cover of the book suggests, the book is about two daughters. One daughter returns from a long time away from home to begin to connect with her family in Cornwall. The other daughter has horrendous experiences as she tries to escape from war torn Singapore 1942.
Their two stories make for good reading, not too heavy and some romance.
