Author and dementia educator Theresa Bates will be at the Busselton Library on Thursday 20th June at 11am.
The event will be an open discussion about the truths and myths surrounding dementia. Theresa talks about the different types of dementia, the difference between normal ageing and dementia symptoms and the role we can play in reducing or delaying onset. She will delve into the carers and family roles and open up the floor for a Q&A.
Busselton Library will provide morning tea for all guests, and copies of Theresa Bates book The Journey with Dementia will be available to buy.
