Sasha Wasley will chat about the WA history that went into her new novel Snapshots From Home.
The book, set in 1917, explores the journey of Edie Stark, a young woman who volunteers for the YMCA’s wartime Snapshots from Home League.
Taking place against the backdrop of World War One, the Great Strike and the 1917 conscription referendum, and with scenes set in Albany, York, Midland and Guildford, guests will enjoy hearing the history and seeing images of familiar WA spots.
The Library will provide drinks and nibbles and Dymocks Busselton will have copies of the book for sale.
