Come to the Dunsborough Library on Friday 6th September from 2pm – 3pm for a free talk by author Annabel Smith.
Annabel Smith is the author of interactive digital novel/app The Ark, US bestseller Whisky Charlie Foxtrot, & A New Map of the Universe, which was shortlisted for the WA Premier’s Book Awards. She is an Australia Council Creative Australia Fellow, holds a PhD in Writing & teaches for Australian Writers Centre.
The topic of the talk is “Write, Edit, Repeat: The Process of Writing.” The event is ideal for beginner or established writers, who want to write and edit their own work.
This dynamic presentation will provide tips on aspects of writing including where to find inspiration, how to get started, to plan or not to plan, self-editing and feedback, and seeking publishing or self-publishing.
The event is FREE but bookings are essential. Limited places. Afternoon tea will be provided.
