The Sketchbook Project is a collaborative and visual experience that provides an opportunity for young people to share their own personal stories and passions with the wider community across Western Australia.
Each year, Propel sends hundreds of sketchbooks to participants across our vast State, ready to be cut, painted and inked, filled with designs, stories and drawings from young people who want to share their stories.
All completed sketchbooks are displayed in the State Library of Western Australia as part of the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival.
After the Festival, the sketchbooks embark on a tour of regional and suburban libraries, sharing our young people’s stories in an ongoing event called The Travelling Sketchbook Exhibition.
Fill your sketchbooks with drawings, artwork, photographs, words, anything, but remember finished sketchbooks need to be returned to the Library before 20th March 2019 to be displayed during the KickstART Festival.
