IMPORTANT- Information regarding City of Busselton Public Libraries closure

In response to the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19, both Busselton and Dunsborough Public Libraries have closed, effective of 5.30pm today (Friday 20th March) until further notice.

What you need to know;

1. Our after-hours return chute will be unavailable.

Please do not return any items you currently have checked out, to the Busselton Library. Our after-hours return chute will remain closed until further notice. The Naturaliste Community Centre will also remain closed until further notice and therefore items cannot be returned to the Dunsborough Library. Staff will not be collecting books left outside the building and you may be fined for their loss or damage if you choose to do so.

2. Current loans will be extended until June 30, 2020.

The due date for items currently checked out to your account has been changed to June 30, 2020. This date is not an indication of when the libraries will re-open. In the case the closure surpasses June 30, items due date will be changed accordingly.

3. Holds will be suspended.

If you have an item(s) on hold, that hold will be suspended until we re-open. You will not lose your place in line for an item you have on hold. Placing new holds on items will be unavailable from Friday 20th March until the library re-opens.

4. Phone support will be available.

If you have any questions please contact the Busselton Library on 9781 1777 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Staff will endeavour to assist you with queries and concerns, but please be mindful of limited staff availability.
