When is the library open?
The following opening hours are effective Monday 15th June 2020.
9.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday
9.30am – 3.30pm Saturday
9.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday
9.30am – 4.00pm Friday
9.00am – 11.30am Saturday
Will there be restrictions on numbers?
Yes, there will be a 50-person limit on patrons in the Busselton Library and a 20-person limit in Dunsborough. Please adhere to physical distancing of 1.5m between patrons.
Patrons must sanitise their hands before entering. If you are sick or unwell, please do not enter the library.
Do we return items as per usual?
No. The returns chutes in the Busselton Library foyer, and the Busselton after-hours returns chute are closed (due to renovations). Items can only be returned to the Busselton Library during our opening hours. We have set up a returns section at the front desk (service counter).
Dunsborough Library’s returns box will be located at the entrance of the Naturaliste Community Centre. Please return items here before entering the library.
Can I borrow books, DVDs and other items?
Yes, you can borrow books, DVDs, audiobooks and magazines as per usual. Holds can be placed on items but please be mindful of other libraries opening days and hours- items may take longer in transit than usual.
Will Baby Bounce and Storytime be on again?
At the moment, Baby Bounce and Storytime will still be on hold, but we are creating weekly videos for both sessions as well as LEGO Club. If you head to our YouTube page you will find more than 5 hours of interactive videos to keep you entertained. Baby Bounce and Storytime will resume after the July school holidays.
Do you provide hand sanitiser?
Yes, all visitors will be required to sanitise their hands on entering the Library and before using our self-serve check-out station.
Can I use the computers?
Yes. Our Public PCs are currently available to use for one hour in Busselton and 30 minutes in Dunsborough, with no extensions. Please note only half our Public PCs are available, to ensure physical distancing requirements are adhered to. We ask customers let a staff member know when they’ve finished using a computer so they can be thoroughly sanitised.
Can I print?
Yes. Print, mobile print, photocopy and scanning services are available. For information on mobile printing click here.
Can I book the reading/meeting room?
No. Our meeting room is currently unavailable.
