The school holidays are quickly approaching and we have prepared a jam-packed schedule of activities.

Lego Club

Thursday 6th January – Dunsborough Library

Friday 21st January – Busselton Library

Join other like-minded Junior LEGO Masters at Dunsborough Library! Enjoys games, challenges and free building time. We provide the LEGO, you just have to bring your creativity and building skills. This event is ideal for children aged 4-12. Bookings are NOT required. Parents & guardians are asked to stay for the duration of the event.

Ricky Possum Show

Friday 7th January – Busselton Library

Tuesday 18th January – Dunsborough Library

Join Ricky Possum on this interactive adventure back to the “olden days” of farming with the help of Grandad Larry and his farm animals. Ricky Possum will take children on an imaginary visit to .Grandad’s farm, where Grandad Larry has been living all of his life. Grandad is now 80 and ready to retire, he loves to tell stories about how farming used to be “in the olden days” and how it has changed. Grandad Larry shows Ricky some farm artefacts and together with the help of the farm animals, they piece together the past and link it to how farming is today.

This show will be very interactive with puppets and some very catchy songs. This event is ideal for children aged 2-8. Bookings are NOT required. Parents & guardians are asked to stay for the duration of the event.

Crafternoon

Monday 10th January – Busselton Library

Friday 14th January – Dunsborough Library

Drop in to the Library for an animal-themed crafting session. We’ll lay out an avalanche of craft supplies – why not come and see what you can create. There’ll be tons of different crafts to try. Just use your imagination!

All are welcome. Suitable for ages 4-12 years old. Bookings NOT required. We ask parents, carers and guardians to stay with their children for the duration of the activity.

Sea Creature Illustrations with Kylie Howarth

Tuesday 11 January – Dunsborough Library 

Dive into the underwater world of illustrations and story-telling. Discover how Kylie Howarth creates her book illustrations and draw along as she shows you step-by-step how to draw some super sea creature characters. Then dive in and get your hands dirty as you experiment illustrating with charcoal.

Ranger Red’s Zoo Experience

Monday 17th January – Busselton Library

Discover the WILD side at your library. Ranger Red’s Zoo and his menagerie of animals are coming to the Busselton Library – feathers, fur and scales. Kids will learn about conservation in this hands-on educational experience.
