NCC Carpark Upgrade

The Naturaliste Community Centre carpark and access road will be resurfaced starting Monday 17th November. These works are essential to fix the existing tree root damage and ensure a safer, more durable carpark surface.

What’s Happening?

  • Tree removals, earthworks, and kerb reinstatements will occur with partial carpark closures (facility access remains unchanged).
  • Full carpark closure will be required for resurfacing over several days. Exact dates will be confirmed with at least two weeks’ notice.

Tree Replacement

  • Some trees will need to be removed to prevent future root intrusion. While this is unfortunate, new trees will be planted as part of the project to keep the area green and welcoming.

Alternative Parking

  • During full closure periods, please use the carparks adjacent to the two ovals next to the NCC.
  • Walking time is approximately 2–5 minutes across the ovals.
  • See the map to the right for parking and walkway options.
