Did You Know?

A librarian showing a new member how to use our services.

During our survey last year, we had many people request that we offer a way to renew books other than coming into the library and asking staff to do it. The good news is: we have always had a variety of alternative ways to do this.

Please note that you may not always be able to renew your items.  There are a maximum of two renewals, and we also cannot renew items that someone else has reserved.

If you wish to renew your items, the options available to you are:

  • Phone: During opening hours, staff are available to respond to phone requests.  You can reach Busselton Library on (08) 9781 1777, or Dunsborough Library on (08) 9756 7111.
  • Email: Staff monitor emails throughout the day to respond to customer requests.  You can Email Busselton Library, or Email Dunsborough Library.
  • Website: You can use the Contact form on this website, which staff monitor throughout the day to respond to customer requests.
  • Online Catalogue: If you log onto our online catalogue and access My Account, you can view your checkouts and renew items directly.  To learn more about our online catalogue, visit our Online Catalogue page.
  • Self-Serve Kiosk: If you are already in the library to borrow other items, the self-serve kiosks can also be used to view and renew your already borrowed items.  Ask our friendly staff to demonstrate how to do this next time you are visiting.
  • Library Staff: You are also always welcome to continue coming into the library and asking staff to renew your items.
