Free Native Plant Seedlings – WA Tree Festival

Library patrons can take home a free native plant, shrub or tree seedling from the Busselton Library, or the Naturaliste Community Centre.

The initiative is part of the 2026 WA Tree Festival, in an effort to enhance rural, residential and urban canopy and biodiversity.

The South West is an internationally recognized biodiversityhotspot, one of only 36 in the world. Our region is home to unique species that exist nowhere else.

Native plants, shrubs and trees are resilient to the region’s nutrient-poor soil, hot, dry summers and low rainfall, making them resilient while supporting delicate local ecosystems.

Collect your FREE native seedling between 11th April and 10th May.
