The first book I’ve read about a transgendered person. She always refers to herself as a female, Geraldine, but the rest of her family call her Gerald. The book unfolds by describing life from her point of view and all the things she has to deal with along the way. Somewhat slow at times, but worth a read just to have some understanding of what it must be like.
