This is a clever, sensitive, and honest account of human connection.
In this case, the narrator tells of life’s complications:
- The husband departing the marriage
- Children’s lives, ideas, and needs
- Maggie – the new woman who causes the narrator such grief
- Her best friend Darlene’s support
- Complications with effects of Chinese background
- A cancer diagnosis
I recommend this book. It is very good, although, not an easy read due to the myriad of complications.
