Sami Kierce was a young college graduate backpacking in Europe with friends before starting medical school. In Spain he met a young woman named Anna. His life would never be the same. Twenty-two years later Sami is now a private investigator and teaching wannabe detectives at a night school in New York City. Whilst teaching one evening he recognises a familiar face at the back of the classroom. He makes eye contact with her, however she bolts. For Sami there is no choice, he must find this woman. At the same time the man that killed his fiancé has just been released from prison on a technicality. Still claiming he is innocent he wants Sami to help him find the real murderer. Sami has students that help him out with his investigations, which bring him face-to-face with his past.
This book is a fast paced read full of multiple twists.
