Donating items to the library
People sometimes ask if they can donate items to the library. While we are grateful for donations, we are only able to accept items that fit our donation guidelines. We reserve the right to accept, reject, sell, or otherwise dispose of donated materials. We apply the same criteria as outlined in our collection development guidelines, which can be found on our Library Guidelines page.
Some items can never be accepted, such as books more than two years old, DVDs, or magazines.
Please see staff if you have items that may be suitable for inclusion in our Local Studies Collection.
