Set in fictional Stonesmere in the Lake District in England. The village is small where life just plods along. Then one day during a school assembly, a gunman walks in and the lives of many will be changed forever.
Making matters worse is a group of ‘truthers’ who believe the whole thing is a hoax, and that the victims never existed.
The chapters are short, being told by multiple timelines and viewpoints, jumping back and forth from before, during and after Day One.
