Alison is a famous actor who no longer acts, Patrick is a musician past his prime, and Neve, Patrick’s teenage daughter arrives from Australia to spend her gap year. An 18th birthday celebration is being planned and Patrick’s ex-wife Shannon also arrives to join in the party. But each of the protagonists have secrets, complicating and unsettling and the “Feast” provides the pivot that shatters the façade of their lives.
Beautifully drawn and complex characters – a disturbing yet compelling read.
