This is a book about Betty – 20 years of age, who finds herself being a carer for her grandmother, Arlette, who she loves very much. Her grandmother dies and leaves part of her inheritance to a girl (Clara) who none has ever heard of, so Betty sets out to find her. As we travel back in time, mysteries are revealed, and Arlette’s secrets come to light. For Betty, the search for Clara leads to many adventures and surprises.
For me there was some confusion deciphering the characters living in 1920’s and 1990’s. However, a really enjoyable read.
