Two main characters, Olivia and Vivian. Olivia is good looking, charismatic, married with three kids, TV personality and history professor. Vivian is plain, dumpy, has no social skills and is a housekeeper to the lady of The Manor (we learn much later that she is highly intelligent and was a professor).
It’s a creepy story with the two characters’ stories intertwined and told from each perspective until finally in a dramatic ending – all is revealed.
If you like creepy mysteries, this is for you. Personally, I don’t think it’s as good as Magpie Lane.
