
Library Membership
Membership is FREE – you can visit us in person, or join online. If you join online you can use your temporary card number and PIN to access eBooks, eAudiobooks and other online resources immediately.
To access the full range of our services we will need to view your identification at one of our branches.
One Library Network
Busselton Libraries is part of the One Library network. The One Library network connects 25 libraries in Western Australia giving greater access to the community.
If you already have a library membership at any of the One Library participating libraries you won’t need to register again. You can use your current library card to access the services at Busselton Libraries.
How to Join
We offer standard memberships for Western Australian residents and lite memberships for travellers. We also offer other memberships; Book Clubs, Outreach and Homebound.
To become a member you will need to provide current proof of your name and address.
Either ONE of the following forms of ID;
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Lease Agreement
- Rates Notice
- Centrelink pension/health card
OR
TWO of the following forms of ID;
- Current electricity, telephone, water or gas bill
- Bank or Medicare statement
- Rent Receipt
Don’t have current proof of address? Don’t Worry
If you don’t have current proof of address you can register for Lite Membership (we will need to see some form of ID). You’ll be able to:
- Borrow 2 items
- Access eResources
- Use the printing, scanning and copying facilities
If you are travelling from interstate or overseas you can register for Lite Membership (we will need to see some form of ID). You’ll be able to:
- Borrow 2 items
- Access eResources
- Use the printing, scanning and copying facilities

Borrowing Information
You’ll need to bring your library card with you when you visit either Library so you can:
- Borrow up to 30 items (limit 10 DVDs)
- Reserve up to 20 items (limit 4 interlibrary loans)
- Access the public computers, printer, photocopier and scanner
- Use the self-service check out
- Reserve and renew items
- Manage your account
- Access digital resources
All members may borrow or return at any of the libraries in the One Library network.
